Key Components Of Flanges
Flange Face
It refers to the area of contact with the gasket used for sealing. Typically, a gasket sits between the two opposing flange faces.
Flange Surfaces
It is the condition of the flange face sealing surface. The surface is serrated or smooth.
Flange Hub
The flange hub is the section that accommodates the pipe that connects to the flange.
Flange Blade

Bore

Flat Face

Ring Joint Face (RTJ)

Connection

Material Inspection
Incoming quality control (IQC) is the process of observes the quality of materials and parts for manufacturing a product before production starts. With incoming inspection, you can control & check chemical analysis for quality even before leading a first item inspection or a during production inspection.
Material Cutting
In this process refers to manufacturing flanges by cutting stripes from the middle plate and then rolling them into round shape. After all other processes and rolling process, weld and then compress the round shape, and finally process the serrated spiral finish and bolt hole. We do Weight Measuring, checking cut surfaces and marking.
Flange Forging
Forged flanges generally have lower carbon content than cast flanges and are less disposed to rust. In Forgings Material Grade Check, weight measuring, and control the temperature. The forged flange is that the inner structure is unfluctuating, and there are no defects such as holes and presences in the casting.
Heat Treatment
In this process of heat treatment, the overall forging cooling speed is the slowest, the standardizing cooling speed is quicker, reducing cooling speed is faster. Flanges are mutually connected and continuous in the process. In this process also do Solution Treatment and Mechanical Testing.
Forging Rolling
It is a forging method that utilizes opposing rolls to shape a metal part. Roll forging uses rolls in order to achieve the deformation of the material, it is mainly classified as a metal forging process and not a rolling process. The forging structure of the rolls used to forge metal parts is only current over a portion of the roll's edge.
Final Inspection
In this method measure & inspect the dimension & size of the flange. The diameter is check to control what size pipe a flanges can be used with, so you must find this information by using the inside of the flange as different to the outside. We also perform some visual testing and Nondestructive testing for betterment.
Rust Prevention
The standard rust prevention treatment for stainless steel flanges include yellow (Golden) paint Coating, black paint coating / black phosphating treatment, varnish paint coating, electro galvanizing coating (Cold), varnish antirust oil coating, hot dip galvanizing coating etc. Also Marking on the flanges.
Well Packing
Steel Flanges must be packed with seaworthy packing method then delivery to clients, generally the packing way include wooden box, iron & steel cage, wooden pallet, iron & steel pallet etc. Because of the normal wooden boxes or pallets have to do fumigation treatment, we generally use plywood pallet or plywood case or box to pack SS flanges without fumigation treatment.
