The Diameter Of The Double Headed Bolt

Oct 17, 2023|

The diameter, length, and quantity of double headed bolts should meet the requirements, and the type and material of double headed bolts are determined by their grade. There are two commonly used types of double head bolts (also known as full thread bolts), with threads divided into coarse and fine threads. Coarse thread ordinary threads are represented by M and nominal diameter, while fine thread ordinary threads are represented by M and nominal diameter × Pitch representation. The fastener standard specifies that M36 bolts should use coarse thread, while M36 and above diameters can use fine thread with a pitch of 3. Bm=1d double headed bolts are generally used for connecting two steel components; Double headed bolts with bm=1.25d and bm=1.5d are generally used for connecting cast iron and steel components; BM=2d double headed bolts are generally used for the connection between aluminum alloy connectors and steel connectors.
